Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Azh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Machidan Lyoton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machidan Lyoton is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Machidan Lyoton!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azh keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lyoton.
Lyoton keeps Azh at a distance using the push kick.
A combination from Lyoton does no damage.
Nice takedown defense from Lyoton. No joy for Azh on that attempt.
Azh moves out of range of the strikes.
Lyoton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Azh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lyoton swinging wilding here.
A punch combination from Lyoton misses.
Azh ducks straight into an uppercut from Lyoton and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Azh maanges to regain guard straight away.

Azh is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lyoton trying to stand up but can't free himself from Azh's guard.
Oh Azh is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lyoton wants to control from the top but Azh keeps moving.
Azh seems to have got his legs back now.

Lyoton avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lyoton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Azh. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lyoton trying to control but Azh is working from the bottom.
Lyoton wants to stand and escape but instead Azh has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Lyoton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Azh regains full guard. Nicely done.
Azh throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Lyoton pushing down on Azh's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Lyoton tries to stand and escape but Azh is controlling the position.
Lyoton prevents Azh from improving his position.
Lyoton trying to control from half guard but Azh is working away.

Lyoton decides to stand up.

Azh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lyoton tries to avoid it but Azh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lyoton to the ground. Lyoton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Azh is breathing heavily.
Azh takes one to the side of the head.
Lyoton lands a glancing blow to the side of Azh's head.
Machidan Lyoton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Azh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lyoton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Azh shoots in and drives through. Lyoton sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Azh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Azh moves in looking to clinch but Lyoton pushes him off.
Lyoton moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Lyoton throws a head kick but Azh moves out of range.
Lyoton cracks Azh with an uppercut from hell and Azh crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Lyoton's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lyoton would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lyoton trying to control the position from guard on top but Azh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Azh looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lyoton trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Machidan Lyoton dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Lyoton drops Azh with a left and a right! Oh, Azh is hurt - Lyoton dives into side control looking to finish!
Azh is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Lyoton is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Azh has escaped the position, nice work there.
Azh is not content to let Lyoton control the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Azh wants to control but Lyoton postures up.

Azh is looking for a sweep.

Lyoton stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Lyoton fails to land with a series of punches.
Lyoton dances in with a quick combination. Azh is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Lyoton snaps Azh's head back. Azh stumbles backwards against the cage. Lyoton steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Azh's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Azh just didn't come prepared.
