Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Edison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junichi Todakan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Peter Edison has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Peter Edison seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Edison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Junichi Todakan!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todakan takes the fight into the clinch.
Edison trying to control the position but instead, Todakan has worked for underhooks and has pushed Edison into the cage.
Edison creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Todakan jumps guard.
Todakan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Edison defends well.
Todakan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Edison can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Edison got a little sloppy there for a moment and Todakan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Edison has managed to get both his arms back between Todakan's legs - danger averted.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Todakan sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Todakan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Edison gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close second round but I would say that Peter Edison will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Todakan feints a jab promting Edison to slip. Todakan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Edison slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Todakan darts in and clinches Edison up against the cage.
Todakan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Edison keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Todakan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Todakan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Todakan sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Todakan is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Edison is surviving well by controlling Todakan's body position as best he can.

Junichi Todakan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Todakan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
