The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maurisal throws a head kick but Collins moves out of range.

Collins rushes Maurisal and presses him up against the cage.
Collins trying to stall but Maurisal improves his position.
Collins scores with a nice hook to the head.
Collins tries a body shot but Maurisal blocks it.
Collins lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Collins decides to pull guard.
Collins can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Maurisal controls the pace.

Maurisal lands strikes from half guard.

Collins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Maurisal is working Collins over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Collins lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Maurisal!

Collins is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Maurisal is in big trouble! Collins is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Maurisal. Poor guy.
