Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beaumont McHale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Utter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beaumont McHale!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Utter!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHale lands with a thumping leg kick.
Utter closes the distance and clinches up with McHale, looking for a takedown. Utter pushes McHale against the ropes but McHale circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McHale avoids a punch combination nicely.
McHale fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Utter manages to avoid it.
Nice takedown defense from McHale. No joy for Utter on that attempt.
Utter looks to land a left hand but McHale moved out of range nicely.
Utter fails with a takedown attempt.
Beaumont McHale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Utter.
McHale will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McHale shoots in and drives through. Utter sprawls well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A combination from Utter does no damage.

Utter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Sloppy strikes there by Utter.
McHale manages to work his way to half guard, despite Utter's best efforts.
Utter sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. McHale defending well though.
Utter missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Utter takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
McHale is looking for a sweep. Utter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

McHale is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Utter scores with a couple of nice shots.
Utter sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. McHale defending well though.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Utter not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Utter keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
McHale taking some punishment here, with Utter in his half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Utter thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Utter wants to take a breather but McHale is having none of it.
McHale regains full guard. Nicely done.
Utter throwing strikes from guard but McHale blocks nicely.
McHale wants to sweep here but Utter controlling him for the moment.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
McHale is pulling down on Utter's head to control his posture.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McHale looking for a sweep. Not yet McHale, not yet.
McHale keeping moving, preventing Utter from controlling successfully.

And that's the end of the fight!
Charlie Utter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Utter has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After winning the bout, Charlie Utter thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
