Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gordie Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Clipse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gordie Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Paul Clipse!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green fails to land with a series of punches.

Paul Clipse is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Green slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Paul Clipse seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Green shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Clipse's guard.
Green is looking to work some ground and pound but Clipse has wrist control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Green is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Clipse is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gordie Green.
