Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Richie Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane has chosen Gang of Four - I love a Man in Uniform as his entrance music. Tommy Kane will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kane counters with a left to the body.
Yang moves out of range of the leg kick from Kane.
Richie Yang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kane slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kane is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Yang knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Yang for a finish.

Kane bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yang's guard.

Yang is looking for a triangle but Kane pushes his legs off easily.
Yang has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kane is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Yang.

Tommy Kane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Kane counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Yang out cold! What a finish! Kane is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

After winning the bout, Tommy Kane thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
