Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Ramires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ramires might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bring em Out - TI. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as John Wesson enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Wesson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wesson misses with a body shot.
Wesson dips to his left and cracks Ramires with an uppercut!
Wesson throws a jab when Ramires was well out of range.
Wesson scores with a body shot.
Wesson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramires swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ramires is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wesson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ramires.

Ramires stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wesson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wesson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Horrible takedown by Ramires or perhaps it was just good defense by Wesson which made him look bad.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ramires bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Sonny Ramires will probably get the nod.

Ramires shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wesson pinned against the cage. Wesson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramires wants to pass the guard but Wesson is keeping the position.
Wesson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ramires!

Wesson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ramires turns into him and now he's in Wesson's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sonny Ramires will probably get the nod.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ramires has hold of Wesson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Wesson seems comfortable defending it but Ramires has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Wesson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Wesson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ramires couldn't care less - he's delighted!
