The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurminen cracks Calaway with an open hand slap.

Nurminen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Calaway has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Nurminen.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Calaway takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Calaway's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Nurminen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Calaway.

Nurminen lands a big uppercut and Calaway crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Calaway looks OK. Nurminen waves Calaway back to his feet!
Calaway is still on wobbly legs! Can Nurminen finish him?
Calaway is aggressively charging in as Nurminen backs up avoiding any damage. Nurminen tosses out a jab and Calaway runs right into it face first! Calaway is out cold! Nurminen dropped down on all fours and is barking in Calaway's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
