Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lebron James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes to the cage accompanied by Rick Rozay - MC Hammer. Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hustlin'. Chris Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lebron James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Jones!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James scores with a takedown into Jones's guard.
James stays in close to Jones's body and controls the position.
Jones wants to stand and escape but James is having none of it.
James trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
James with a nice head shot there.
James trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
James is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
James with a flurry of punches that miss.
James trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
James stays in close to Jones's body and controls the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
James won't allow Jones to get back to his feet.

James cracks Jones with a solid left hand.
Jones wants to stand and escape but James is having none of it.

Jones manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Nice shot by Jones.
James fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away.
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from James, before circling back to the center of the mat.
James tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

James lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by James.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
James throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
James fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lebron James. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
James uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jones.
Jones looking to land some kicks to the body here.
James shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but James keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
James takes a shot right to the bread basket.

James takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
James shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
James moves out of range of the strikes.
Jones turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

James is breathing heavily.
Jones lands with a thumping leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A nice combination there by James.
Jones scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones thumps James with a low kick.
Sloppy strikes from James. Those never looked like landing.
Chris Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones swings for the body but James moves out of range.
Chris Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and James has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jones swings for the body but James moves out of range.

Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lebron James will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Jones darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
James blocks a jab.
James shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jones misses with a right hand
and James counters with a left and a right that stings Jones.
Chris Jones seems to be getting the better of the standup.
James looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones jabs James to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

James uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
James shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lebron James. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones misses with a jab to the body
and James counters with a two punch combo.
Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones misses with a body kick.
James looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

James misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming.
Jones is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down James rather than just go for the knockout.

Jones throws a leg kick but James checks it.

James shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than James was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Jones is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Jones is still in real trouble! Can James finish him?
Jones is breathing heavily.
James postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Jones in real trouble here! The ref calls for Jones to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lebron James!
Lebron James very nearly forgot to thank TFP Graphics - Pit Inc amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
