Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elias Laiho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ford Prefect (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Prefect's choice of entrance music: For Whom The Bell Tolls. Ford Prefect is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laiho misses with a looping right.
Prefect fails with the takedown
and Laiho counters with a left to the body.
Laiho throws a body punch but Prefect moves out of range.
Laiho misses with a combination

and Prefect counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Laiho's guard now.
Prefect trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Laiho pulls Prefect in close to his closed guard and prevents Prefect from doing any damage or advancing position.
Laiho knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prefect on the ground.

Prefect wants to control from the top but Laiho keeps moving.

Ford Prefect has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Laiho scores with a jab.
Prefect needs to keep his hands up - Laiho had a free shot at his head there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Laiho scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Prefect doesn't seem bothered though.
Prefect shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Laiho counters with a lead uppercut that lands right on the button! Prefect goes down! Will Prefect beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's up! No problem. Let's get back to the action!

Laiho swings for the body but Prefect moves out of range.
Prefect showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Laiho.

and Laiho makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Elias Laiho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ford Prefect.

and Laiho counters with a nice right hand that sends Prefect toppling to the canvas! Prefect scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Laiho finish him?!

Prefect is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Prefect gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Laiho points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Prefect wakes up just in time to hear Laiho thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

After winning the bout, Elias Laiho thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
