Mullen has chosen Country Boy Can Survive as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mullen swings for the body but Pitsenbarger moves out of range.
Mullen throws a hook but Pitsenbarger avoids it easily.

Mullen tries to score with a low kick but Pitsenbarger moves his leg out of the way.

Pitsenbarger lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mullen will feel that in the morning.

Mullen throws out a leg kick but Pitsenbarger moves out of range and Mullen only half commits.
Mullen slips under a jab from Pitsenbarger.
Mullen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Pitsenbarger throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pitsenbarger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pitsenbarger is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pitsenbarger lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mullen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mullen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Pitsenbarger is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Pitsenbarger tests Mullen's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Pitsenbarger steps in with a hook that catches Mullen right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Pitsenbarger follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Mullen looks absolutely devastated.

In his post fight interview, Bill Pitsenbarger started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
