The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Clutch counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rivera misses with a takedown
and Clutch cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Clutch scores with a jab to the body.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thiago Rivera. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Clutch counters with a crisp one two that drops Rivera! Clutch thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rivera to his feet! Rivera is in big trouble!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head kick by Clutch - that's a beauty! Rivera is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Clutch can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
