The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herdum scores with a kick to the body.
Herdum shoots for a takedown but Avalon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Avalon throws a hook to the side of Herdum's head but Herdum sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Avalon connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Herdum lands an overhand right.

It looks like Johnny Avalon has been cut.

Herdum fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Herdum tries to clinch but Avalon is having none of it.

Herdum lands a big head kick that sends Avalon tumbling to the mat! Herdum takes a step backwards and waves Avalon back to his feet - he wants the finish!
