The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chicken blocks a head kick by Tyson.

Chicken gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Chicken wants to take a breather but Tyson is having none of it.
Chicken is stalling here. Tyson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Chicken seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Tyson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyson tries to get to his feet but Chicken is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Tyson in his guard.

Chicken is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Tyson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Chicken is proving hard to escape from.

Tyson tries to free his leg and advance position but Chicken is retaining full guard.
Chicken wants to sweep but no luck.
Chicken punching from the bottom - just letting Tyson know he's still in a fight.
Chicken wants to stand but Tyson is controlling the position.
Tyson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chicken on the ground.
Chicken wants to get back to his feet but Tyson passes into half guard.
Chicken has a hand on Tyson's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Tyson takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Chicken sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Chicken manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tyson's best efforts.

Chicken trying to get back to full guard but Tyson takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Tyson avoids the attempt from Chicken to control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chicken can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chicken wants to hold on but Tyson pushes him away.
Chicken bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Chicken trying to control the position from guard on top but Tyson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jimmmy Chicken has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Chicken fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tyson throws a quick inside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Tyson and Chicken are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Tyson throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Chicken into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Tyson knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
