Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jean Van Dam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keaton Bullard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keaton Bullard will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keaton Bullard!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Van Dam manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Van Dam staying out of range there.
Van Dam closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bullard's guard.
Van Dam tries to free his leg and advance position but Bullard is retaining full guard.
Bullard is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Van Dam working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bullard looking to hit a scissor sweep but Van Dam is one step ahead there.
Van Dam stays in close to Bullard's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Van Dam throws a body punch but Bullard moves out of range.
Bullard dives in and grabs Van Dam's left leg, looking for a takedown. Van Dam pushes down on Bullard's head and hops out.
Van Dam circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bullard takes the fight into the clinch.
Bullard taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Van Dam has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bullard avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Van Dam jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bullard walks away with a smile on his face. Van Dam gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Van Dam misses with a body shot.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Van Dam.
Van Dam trying to control the position but Bullard is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Van Dam blocks the strikes from Bullard.
Bullard tries to buck Van Dam off but Van Dam is having none of it.
A lull in the action here.
Van Dam working the head and body with strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bullard tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bullard is not content to let Van Dam control the position.
Van Dam has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Van Dam with a couple of short strikes.
Van Dam raining down hammerfists from mount.
Bullard is rocked!
A big strike lands for Van Dam! That's really hurt Bullard and he's turned his back - Van Dam keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Van Dam jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
