The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Masters tries to keep at a distance but Buttercup has taken the fight into the clinch.

Masters breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Buttercup moves into the clinch.

Masters pulls guard successfully.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Buttercup wants to stand and escape but instead Masters has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Buttercup wants to get back to his feet but Masters is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Masters lands a couple of digs.
Buttercup is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Buttercup has eaten all the pies!
Buttercup wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Masters manages to pass to side control.

Masters stands up from half guard.

Masters shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Masters won't allow Buttercup to get back to his feet.

Buttercup is looking to stand back up but Masters counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Buttercup.

Masters seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Buttercup is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
