Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Stefan Pozsgai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pozsgai throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Murphy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pozsgai pinned against the cage. Pozsgai gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Murphy feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Pozsgai's calf.
Murphy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Murphy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Murphy keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pozsgai.

Pozsgai throws a hook but Murphy blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pozsgai on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pozsgai tries to get out of the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pozsgai is on top in guard.

Well, if Pozsgai is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Pozsgai thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Murphy is looking to control Pozsgai's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Murphy avoid being mounted?

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pozsgai stuffs the takedown attempt from Murphy. Murphy gets slowly back to his feet.
Pozsgai looks to land a left hand but Murphy moved out of range nicely.
Pozsgai scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Stefan Pozsgai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murphy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Pozsgai lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Murphy shoots in but Pozsgai avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pozsgai swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Murphy ducks under a wild hook from Pozsgai.
Murphy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Murphy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pozsgai is fending him off so far but Murphy persists. Nope, Pozsgai circles away and we're back to standing.
Pozsgai throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Murphy takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Pozsgai pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Pozsgai looks to throw the jab but Murphy is out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pozsgai jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Murphy moves in looking to clinch but Pozsgai pushes him off.
A swing and a miss from Pozsgai.
Pozsgai rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Murphy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Murphy gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Pozsgai breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pozsgai thows a left - swing and a miss!
Murphy closes the distance and clinches up with Pozsgai, looking for a takedown. Murphy pushes Pozsgai against the ropes but Pozsgai circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pozsgai lands a glancing blow to the side of Murphy's head.
Pozsgai throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Good leg kick by Murphy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Murphy shoots in for a double leg but Pozsgai sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pozsgai fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Murphy looks gassed!

That's six minutes gone in the round.
Pozsgai throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Murphy.
Murphy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Murphy on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Pozsgai throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Murphy colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Pozsgai as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Murphy is left battered and dazed whilst Pozsgai and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stefan Pozsgai!
