Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blayne Hawke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Knot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawke comes to the cage accompanied by Send the Pain Below. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knot throws a sloppy head kick and Hawke moves out of range easily.
Good standup being displayed there by Hawke as he connects with a hook.
Nice body kick from Knot.
Knot fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hawke, pushing him back against the cage.
Hawke blocks an elbow strike from Knot.
Hawke doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hawke misses with a punch on the inside.
Hawke avoids the elbow strike from Knot, against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hawke takes an elbow to the forehead.
Knot is looking to control Hawke's arms but Hawke gets an underhook and turns him. Now Knot has his back to the cage.
Knot looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Knot with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hawke blocks the elbow strike.
Knot can't break the clinch.
Hawke lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Hawke misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Knot misses with an elbow over the top.
Hawke just leaning against Knot, taking a breather.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Knot lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Hawke blocks the elbow strike.
Hawke misses with the head strike.
Hawke is struggling to control the position.
Knot throws an elbow that misses.
Hawke avoids a wild elbow strike from Knot.

Knot blocks a body shot from Hawke.

Knot breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Knot fakes the leg kick and cracks Hawke in the body.
Knot moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Knot misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Hawke.
A left lands for Hawke.
Knot clinches with his opponent.
Hawke lands a right hand.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Knot breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hawke stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Knot.
Knot goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Knot misses with a double jab
and Hawke counters with a series of strikes. Knot will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Knot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A combination from Knot does no damage.
Knot misses with a few strikes there.
Knot closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Knot lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Knot throws a strike but Hawke rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hawke advances position into side control!
Hawke looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Hawke will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Knot is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hawke is trying to get an arm triangle but Knot is defending well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hawke tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hawke has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Knot dodges the ground and pound from Hawke.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hawke fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Hawke wants to control but Knot is keeping him busy.
Knot is looking to reverse the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Gordon Knot will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Blayne Hawke's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hawke misses with a jab, cross combination.
Knot throws a sloppy head kick and Hawke moves out of range easily.
A right-left combo lands from Hawke.
Knot throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hawke avoids the head kick by Knot.
Knot doesn't manage to clinch there - Hawke circles away.
A head kick misses from Knot.
Hawke lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Knot at a distance.
Hawke shoots in looking for a takedown but Knot manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hawke's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Blayne Hawke is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hawke scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Knot is rocked!
Hawke works to advance to full mount. Knot defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Knot is still in real trouble! Can Hawke finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hawke swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
