Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oren Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cross has chosen You're A Jerk as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oren Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donald Cross!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hunter gets a clinch.

Hunter has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cross clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Cross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cross is trapped and Hunter is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Hunter lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Hunter.

Hunter is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Cross defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Cross is trying to get back to his feet but Hunter has full control of the position and if anything, Cross has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Hunter gets his hands free as Cross looks to control.
You can see the frustration on Cross's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Cross is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
I really don't envy Cross right now.
Cross is covering up but some of the strikes from Hunter are getting through and doing damage.
You can see the frustration on Cross's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Hunter is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Cross is defending well though. Hunter let's go of the attempt for now.
Hunter throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Cross!
Hunter is trying to stick to Cross's back but Cross is turning into Hunter. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hunter's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Cross.

Hunter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hunter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hunter is breathing heavily.
Cross wants to get up but he can't break Hunter's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Cross has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hunter to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Cross is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hunter pulls down on the head and he's put Cross to sleep! This one is all over!
