The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miettinen fails to land the takedown.
Miettinen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hammer swivels and escapes.

Jack Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammer lands a jab to Miettinen's midsection.
Hammer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Miettinen closes the distance and clinches up with Hammer, looking for a takedown. Miettinen pushes Hammer against the cage but Hammer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Miettinen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hammer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hammer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Miettinen on the side of the head.

Hammer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Miettinen's head backwards.

Miettinen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hammer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miettinen somewhat.
Hammer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Miettinen manages to avoid it.
Hammer connects with a nice looking jab.

Hammer lands a nice hook to Miettinen's body. Miettinen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Miettinen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hammer tries to avoid it but Miettinen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hammer to the ground. Hammer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Miettinen seems to have recovered his senses.
Hammer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Miettinen moves in looking to clinch but Hammer pushes him off.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Miettinen.
Hammer is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Miettinen is looking to clinch but Hammer is avoiding it.

Hammer cracks Miettinen with an open hand slap.
Hammer drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Miettinen right on the button. Miettinen goes down! Hammer follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Hammer gets the win via TKO!
