The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fazz fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rawlins checks it well.
Fazz rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rawlins counters with a flying knee. Nice.
A nice inside leg kick there by Fazz. That's going to slow Rawlins down.
Rawlins takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Horrible takedown by Rawlins or perhaps it was just good defense by Fazz which made him look bad.
Rawlins fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rawlins is defended easily by Fazz.

Fazz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rawlins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fazz circles away quickly and effectively.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rawlins sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fazz's guard.
Rawlins is trying to control the action in half guard but Fazz is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Fazz is defending against the submission attempts here by Rawlins.

Rawlins tries to pass the half guard into mount. Fazz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Rawlins takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Rawlins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fazz keeps working.

Rawlins shoots in looking for a takedown but Fazz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rawlins's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Rawlins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fazz sprawls well. Fazz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rawlins gets slowly back to his feet.

Quizz Al Fazz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fazz misses with a low kick as Rawlins jumps back.
Quizz Al Fazz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fazz throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rawlins.
Fazz dodges the punch combination from Rawlins.
Fazz scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Fazz connects with a leg kick. Rawlins looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rawlins crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fazz - the referee stops the clock and Rawlins gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fazz. Rawlins manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Fazz gets caught napping as Rawlins dives in and scores a takedown. Fazz manages to retain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fazz wants to sweep here but Rawlins controlling him for the moment.
Rawlins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fazz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fazz cracks Rawlins with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Rawlins looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fazz is fending him off so far but Rawlins persists. Nope, Fazz circles away and we're back to standing.

Rawlins closes the distance and clinches up with Fazz, looking for a takedown. Rawlins pushes Fazz against the cage but Fazz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fazz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rawlins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fazz throws the kick towards the body but Rawlins avoids it.

Fazz catches Rawlins with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fazz works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fazz lands a brutal head kick. Rawlins looks out on his feet and Fazz throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
