The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez moves out of range as Adamsky throws a body kick.
Adamsky misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Mendez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Adamsky tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mendez is in Adamsky's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Mendez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Adamsky sprawls well. Adamsky wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mendez gets slowly back to his feet.

Adamsky fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mendez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Adamsky lands a big head kick that sends Mendez tumbling to the mat! Adamsky takes a step backwards and waves Mendez back to his feet - he wants the finish!
