Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Shelby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfonso De Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shelby's entrance music is Amazing. A fine choice. De Souza has chosen Black Capricorn Day - Jamiroquai as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shelby checks the leg kick nicely there.
Shelby misses with a series of wild punches.

De Souza works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Shelby tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Shelby swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by De Souza.

Shelby throws an elbow but it misses.

De Souza is looking to control Shelby's arms but Shelby gets an underhook and turns him. Now De Souza has his back to the cage.
