Salazar comes to the cage accompanied by Don Omar ft Tego Calderon - Bandolero. Ograni has chosen Ameno - Era as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ograni throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salazar's waist but Salazar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ograni off to one side.

Salazar is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ograni's half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ograni tries to get to full guard but Salazar has control of the leg.

Salazar wants to pass the guard but Ograni is keeping the position.
Salazar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ograni drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ograni jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ograni got a little sloppy there for a moment and Salazar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ograni has managed to get both his arms back between Salazar's legs - danger averted.

Salazar has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ograni should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Salazar has tightened it up now! Ograni should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Alvaro Salazar gave a big smile as he said 'Gugo you're tough guy,thank you for the fight,it was the most difficult match in my mma career! unfortunately Belzen was scared to fight me, but i still wanna punish him!So, Belzen, fight me asap, motha fucka, but previously let me know if you wanna be knocked or tapped out!'.
