The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayam tries to clinch up.

No joy there for McLeroy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ayam has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McLeroy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McLeroy is nestled in close to Ayam, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Ayam manages to escape and get back to his feet!
