The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morton thumps Dougles with a low kick.
Dougles darts in trying to clinch
and Morton counters with a thumping low kick.
Dougles tries to clinch
and Morton counters with an inside leg kick.
Dougles closes the distance looking to clinch
and Morton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Ryan Dougles has been cut.
Dougles tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Morton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Morton trying to control the position from guard on top but Dougles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dougles will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Morton in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Dougles knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morton on the ground.
