Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Great Cornholio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renda Trimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cornholio's entrance music is Master of Puppets. A fine choice. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Great Cornholio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Renda Trimm!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trimm avoids the head kick by Cornholio.
Cornholio avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cornholio checks the leg kick nicely there.
Trimm throws a low kick but Cornholio moves out of range easily.
Trimm tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cornholio shoots in and drives through. Trimm sprawls well.
Trimm stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Trimm wants it to stay on the feet.
Cornholio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Great Cornholio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trimm gets a clinch.
Cornholio tries to score a body lock takedown but Trimm shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Cornholio has picked Trimm up - he's going for a ride! Cornholio dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Cornholio is working for a kimura but Trimm is defending it quite comfortably.
Cornholio with the ground and pound but Trimm uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Trimm is looking to stand up but Cornholio isn't so interested in that idea.
Cornholio loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Cornholio looking to sit in guard and control but Trimm gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Cornholio working for a triangle but Trimm defends it easily.
Cornholio has a closed guard, preventing Trimm from standing up.
Trimm must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Trimm has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cornholio to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Trimm is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cornholio pulls down on the head and he's put Trimm to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Great Cornholio!
Great Cornholio very nearly forgot to thank 5th Round Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
