Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Grap Ler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King tries to clinch up but Ler circles away and keeps his distance.
Ler fails to land the takedown.
King slaps away a takedown attempt from Ler, before circling back to the center of the mat.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Grap Ler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ler tries to keep at a distance but King has taken the fight into the clinch.

King clinches up with Ler and pushes him back against the cage.

King working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ler distracts King with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Ler drops back looking for a leg! King is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and King manages to kick Ler off! Ler jumps back into King's guard.

Ler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ler has an Americana. King didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ler is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ler hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
