The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matheus lands a high kick to the side of Bird's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Matheus dives into guard, looking to finish.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Matheus stays in close to Bird's body and controls the position.
Matheus will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Glauco Matheus wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Matheus lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Matheus lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Bird is rocked!

Matheus fakes the leg kick and cracks Bird in the body.

Bird bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Matheus comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Bird falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Bird was out before he hit the floor!
