Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lukasz Dabkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valentin Pechna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dabkowski drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Pechna manages to get back to half guard.
Pechna tries to get to full guard but Dabkowski has control of the leg.

Dabkowski is working for a submission of some sort.
Pechna has hold of Dabkowski's hands but Dabkowski slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Pechna wants to get back to full guard.

Dabkowski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dabkowski prevents Pechna from improving his position.
Pechna gets full guard.

Dabkowski trying to control the position from guard on top but Pechna is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Pechna working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dabkowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Pechna is tightening it up a little... Dabkowski has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dabkowski reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dabkowski taps out! Nice BJJ there by Pechna!
