Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abraham Berkovitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Inas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rage Against The Machine: Killing In The Name. Oliver Inas is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Abraham Berkovitz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oliver Inas!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inas cracks a nice hook into Berkovitz's ribs.
A telegraphed right hand from Berkovitz misses the target.
Berkovitz throws an overhand right that lands on Inas's shoulder, as Inas tries to avoid the shot.
Inas throws a leg kick
and Berkovitz counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Inas throws a body punch but Berkovitz moves out of range.

and Berkovitz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Berkovitz.

Berkovitz distracts Inas with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Berkovitz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Berkovitz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Inas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Berkovitz stands up over Inas, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Berkovitz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Inas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Berkovitz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Inas has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Berkovitz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Inas swivels though and keeps the full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Inas is on top in guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Berkovitz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Inas defends it easily.

Berkovitz looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Inas has picked Berkovitz up and slammed him! Berkovitz can't keep hold of the triangle and Inas manages to pass to side control!
Berkovitz sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Inas not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Inas trying to control the action but Berkovitz is working from the bottom.
Inas trying to mount his opponent but Berkovitz defends it.
Berkovitz is looking for a sweep. Inas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Berkovitz is refusing to be controlled, as Inas sits in half guard.

Berkovitz wants to control but Inas is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Berkovitz has a hand on Inas's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Inas takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Berkovitz manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Berkovitz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Berkovitz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Inas pulls his head out easily.
Inas is looking to advance position but Berkovitz won't allow it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Berkovitz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Berkovitz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Inas.
Inas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Berkovitz was well out of range. Poor timing from Inas.
Inas checks the leg kick.
Berkovitz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Inas.
Inas fails in his attempt to clinch.
Berkovitz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Inas as he avoids it easily.
Berkovitz uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Inas.
Some bone on bone action there as Berkovitz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A jab from Berkovitz does it's job there.
Inas throws a hook but Berkovitz avoids it easily.
Inas throws a looping overhand right but Berkovitz ducks down to avoid it.
Inas loads up on a big right hand but Berkovitz slips the punch.
Inas lands a slapping body shot.
Inas is looking to clinch but Berkovitz is avoiding it.
Berkovitz throws a big shot that misses.

Berkovitz fails with a takedown attempt.
Inas looks to land a left hand but Berkovitz moved out of range nicely.
Inas misses with a wild body shot.
Inas takes a swing at Berkovitz's ribcage but misses.
Berkovitz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Inas.

Berkovitz moves into the clinch.
Inas is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Berkovitz keeps control of Inas as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Berkovitz lands a left hand that snaps the head of Inas backwards.
Berkovitz throws a head punch that misses.
Berkovitz blocking some punches.
Inas lands a hook that snaps the head of Berkovitz backwards.

Berkovitz has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Inas clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
I really don't envy Inas right now.

Inas is trapped and Berkovitz is scoring with shots to the head and body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Berkovitz thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Berkovitz scoring with big shots to the body. Inas is looking for a way out. A despairing look towards the ref and the official steps in to stop the fight. Inas was obviously done but didn't want to tap out.
