Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Partlow. No joy for Silva on that attempt.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Partlow moves out of range easily.
Silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Partlow blocks a jab.
Silva throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Partlow tries a head kick but it misses.
Partlow gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Partlow steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Silva.
Silva lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Partlow moves out of range of the strikes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Silva digs a good body shot into Partlow's ribs.

Partlow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Partlow counters with a right hand to the body.

and Partlow counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Silva thinking.

Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Partlow moves out of range easily.
Silva needs to keep his hands up - Partlow had a free shot at his head there.
Oooh a lovely combination from Partlow sends Silva down but not out. Partlow dives into side control looking to finish.

Partlow decides to stand up, so the ref orders Silva to his feet.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt
and Partlow counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Silva seems to have got his legs back now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Silva connects with a body shot.

and Partlow counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brusely Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Partlow tries a head kick but it misses.

and Partlow counters with a stiff right hand.
Partlow instigates a clinch.
Partlow prevents a takedown attempt there.
Silva has Partlow pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Silva pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Partlow tumbling to the mat - Silva dives into Partlow's guard.
Silva prevents Partlow from getting back to his feet.
Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Partlow is retaining full guard.
Partlow pushes Silva off and scrambles back to his feet.
Partlow keeps the fight on the outside.

Silva throws a right and a left that Partlow avoids nicely.
Silva throws a hook but Partlow blocks it.
Partlow fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silva misses with a head kick.
Silva slips a jab and a cross from Partlow.
Partlow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva.
Partlow works over Silva's head and body with a nice combination.

and Partlow counters with a stiff right hand.

Partlow gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Silva darts in and clinches Partlow up against the cage.
Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Partlow avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Partlow wants to get back to striking at distance but Silva won't allow it.

Silva changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Partlow fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Partlow stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva misses with a takedown
and Partlow counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Brusely Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Partlow pushes Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva tries to pull guard but Partlow won't allow it.
Partlow pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Partlow pushes Silva off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Partlow throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silva tries to clinch up.
Silva swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Partlow counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Partlow lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Silva takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Partlow dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Partlow.
Silva misses with a takedown
and Partlow counters with a three punch combo that has Silva backing up. Silva nods at Partlow to acknowledge the strikes.
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Partlow swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva.
Silva tries to clinch but Partlow moves out of range.
Good exchange - Silva coming out on top.
Silva circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Partlow drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Silva follows Partlow to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
