The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorgenson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Jorgenson closes the distance and pushes Fauatea back into the cage.
Jorgenson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fauatea smiles and moves away.

Jorgenson dives in and grabs Fauatea's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fauatea pushes down on Jorgenson's head and hops out.

Jorgenson shoots in looking for a takedown. Fauatea tries to sprawl out of it but Jorgenson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fauatea manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fauatea misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fauatea throws a nice looking combination but Jorgenson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jorgenson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fauatea but Fauatea pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jorgenson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Fauatea rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jorgenson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Spencer Jorgenson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jorgenson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fauatea's waist but Fauatea gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jorgenson off to one side.
Eloni Fauatea is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fauatea throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fauatea throws a nice looking combination but Jorgenson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jorgenson misses with a low kick.
Jorgenson lands a leg kick that knocks Fauatea off balance momentarily.
Jorgenson wants to clinch.
Jorgenson scores with a head kick. Fauatea tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Eloni Fauatea has been cut.

Jorgenson has gone for a leg lock! Fauatea slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jorgenson's guard.

Fauatea knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jorgenson on the ground.
Jorgenson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fauatea kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Oh but Jorgenson is tightening it up a little... Fauatea has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Fauatea reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Fauatea taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jorgenson!

After the fight, Spencer Jorgenson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
