Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Amelia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaius Maecenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maecenas stuffs the takedown.
Maecenas smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Amelia has a takedown stuffed.
Amelia looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Amelia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Amelia misses with a takedown attempt - Maecenas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Amelia wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Maecenas is pushing Amelia up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Maecenas cracks Amelia with a nice body shot.
Amelia is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Maecenas pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Maecenas keeps control of Amelia as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Maecenas gets underhooks to prevent Amelia's takedown attempt.
Amelia is trying to push Maecenas away but Maecenas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Maecenas keeps control of Amelia as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Amelia breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Maecenas throws a combination. Amelia tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Gabriel Amelia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Amelia shoots for a double leg takedown but Maecenas sprawls well. He's pushed Amelia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Maecenas rushes Amelia and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Maecenas looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Amelia changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Maecenas fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Amelia takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
No joy there for Amelia, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gaius Maecenas dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Amelia drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Amelia is trying to break the clinch but Maecenas has him pressed against the cage.
Maecenas content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Amelia tries to stall but Maecenas uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Maecenas lands a left hand.
Amelia looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Maecenas prevents a takedown attempt there.
Maecenas is pressed up against the cage. Amelia has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Maecenas down to the mat. Maecenas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Amelia is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Amelia. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Maecenas instigates a clinch.
Oh Amelia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maecenas lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Maecenas lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Maecenas's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Maecenas creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Amelia with a big uppercut! Amelia tries to clinch up but Maecenas pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Amelia to the mat! Amelia covers up and Maecenas unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Gaius Maecenas!
