The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Canadian Kid working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Case doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Case manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Justin Case overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Case accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Case working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Canadian Kid turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Case off and cradles Canadian Kid's limp body as Case celebrates with his corner.
