Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tony Blane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pogue Mahone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahone comes into a darkened arena with his song building. dj shadow kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Pogue Mahone struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Pogue Mahone is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pogue Mahone!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahone is looking to clinch but Blane is avoiding it.
Nice defenses there by Mahone.
Blane fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Mahone wants to clinch
and Blane counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
An inside leg kick lands from Blane.
A swing and a miss from Blane.
Blane lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mahone's sensitive parts.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mahone checks a low kick from Blane.
A head kick misses from Blane.
Blane misses with a wild combination.
Mahone tries to close the distance and clinch but Blane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tony Blane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blane moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Blane lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Pogue Mahone has been cut.
Mahone fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mahone moves in looking to clinch but Blane pushes him off.
Blane throws a lazy head kick
and Mahone counters with a body kick.
Blane lands a nice hook to Mahone's body. Mahone takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mahone checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Blane throws a right and a left that both miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mahone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Blane throws a shot from downtown. Mahone moves away and avoids it.
Blane lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Mahone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mahone takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mahone checks a leg kick.
Blane lands with an overhand left.
Blane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mahone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Blane cracks the inside of Mahone's front leg.
Mahone looks gassed!
A jab lands there for Blane.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mahone has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mahone there as he acknowledges the shot.
Blane misses with a leg kick.
Mahone blocks a jab.

Mahone clinches up with Blane and pushes him back against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Blane manages to break the clinch.
Blane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mahone walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Blane scores with a punch to the head.

Mahone is rocked!
Mahone gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Blane points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Mahone wakes up just in time to hear Blane thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
