Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uzumaki Naruto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Uzumaki Naruto!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles scores with a shot to the body.

Naruto fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Styles to the ground. Naruto is now in Styles's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Naruto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Styles swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Naruto is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Styles is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Styles has escaped and now he's on top!

Naruto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Styles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Styles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Naruto had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Styles defends it easily.
Naruto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Styles thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Naruto's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Styles is looking to take a break and control but Naruto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Styles lands a nice short elbow.
Naruto tries to roll over but Styles keeps him under control.

Styles has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Styles is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Naruto knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Naruto is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Styles pulls his head out easily.
Styles tries to pass the half guard into mount. Naruto knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Styles is looking to stall here but Naruto recovers full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Styles won't allow Naruto to sweep him here.

A close round but Uzumaki Naruto will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!

Styles scores with a hook to the body. Naruto takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Styles throws a nice looking combination but Naruto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Xavier Styles is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Naruto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Styles was well out of range. Poor timing from Naruto.
Naruto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Styles manages to avoid it.
Naruto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Naruto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Styles circles away.
Styles leaves Naruto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Naruto fails to land the takedown.
Xavier Styles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uzumaki Naruto.
Styles looks to score with a jab to the body but Naruto is just out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Naruto.
Styles throws a right hand that Naruto ducks under and follows up with a left that Naruto also avoids with ease.

Naruto throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Styles tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Naruto is in Styles's guard.

Styles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Naruto is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Naruto keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Styles's head.

Styles got a little sloppy there for a moment and Naruto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Styles has managed to get both his arms back between Naruto's legs - danger averted.

Styles is looking for a kimura but Naruto is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Styles to get the leverage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Styles is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Naruto is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
