Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Darian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Steller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darian comes to the cage accompanied by Fly By Night. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darian lands a glancing blow to the side of Steller's head.
Steller fails with the takedown.
Darian misses with a wild body shot.
Nice takedown defense from Darian. No joy for Steller on that attempt.
Darian goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and Darian counters with a left and a right that stings Steller.
Lance Darian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mac Steller.
Steller tries for a takedown but Darian circles away easily
and Darian counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Mac Steller has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Darian looks to land a left hand but Steller moved out of range nicely.

Darian connects with a body shot that sends Steller's belly button to the back.

Steller shoots in but no luck this time.
Darian fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Steller has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Darian tries to land a leg kick but Steller saw it coming and moves away.

Darian scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Darian looks to land a left hand but Steller moved out of range nicely.
Steller keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Darian.
Steller takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Steller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Darian counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mac Steller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Darian catches Steller with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Darian thuds his right hand into Steller's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Steller is rocked!
Darian lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Steller out cold! Steller is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lance Darian!
An out of breath Lance Darian thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
