Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuo Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watanabe has chosen Metallica - All Nightmare Long as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Watanabe enables Winchester to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Watanabe manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Watanabe is looking for a triangle but Winchester pushes his legs off easily.

Winchester changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Watanabe looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
