Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Da Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Maya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maya has chosen Spitfire as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Souza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maya moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maya shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Da Souza pinned against the cage. Da Souza gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Maya takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Maya dodges the punch combination from Da Souza.
Maya drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

It looks like Maya might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Maya has hold of Da Souza's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Da Souza seems comfortable defending it but Maya has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Da Souza is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Da Souza is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Maya couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Damian Maya!
