Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ive scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Watah tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ive wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Ive takes a little break here. Watah wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Watah is looking to reverse the position.
Watah is working hard here to advance position.
Watah gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Watah slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Watah is looking for a triangle but Ive pushes his legs off easily.
Ive sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Ive won't allow Watah to sweep him here.

Watah has his foot on Ive's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ive works his way back into a safe position though.

Watah looking for a guillotine here but Ive defends easily.
Watah is breathing heavily.

Watah had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ive is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Watah Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ive's back instead.

Ive wants to get back to his feet.

Ive is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.
Ive throws a solid leg kick but Watah takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ive.
Ive goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Watah doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ive counters with a leg kick.
Ive throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Ive misses with a low kick.
Ive attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Watah closes the distance but Ive moves to the side
and Ive counters with an outside leg kick.
Watah lands with a nice combination. Ive backs away looking to recover.
Watah shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ive counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Watah tests Ive's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Watah looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Atushino Watah. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Watah throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Watah looks for a takedown but Ive sprawls well.

Watah connects with a looping right hand.
Watah throws a quick inside leg kick.
Watah throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ive's waist but Ive gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Watah off to one side.
Ive throws a leg kick

and Watah counters with a single leg into guard. Ive didn't expect that.
Watah postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Watah throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ive works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ive really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Watah. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Watah pushing down on Ive's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Watah works his way into side control.

Watah has hold of Ive's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ive tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Watah cranks the arm and Ive screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ive, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Atushino Watah!
