The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scalabrine forces Makenzie back against the cage and clinches.
Makenzie makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Scalabrine can't break the clinch.
Scalabrine lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Makenzie or not.
Makenzie working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Scalabrine is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Scalabrine tries to break the clinch but Makenzie is controlling the position.
Scalabrine blocks an elbow strike from Makenzie.
Scalabrine breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Scalabrine has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Jack Scalabrine has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Makenzie swinging wildly here.
Scalabrine fails in his attempt to clinch.
Scalabrine explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Scalabrine throws a switch kick that catches Makenzie on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Makenzie looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Makenzie flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Jack Scalabrine!
Jack Scalabrine really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Steel Penn's Laundry 93% logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
