Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raven Bloodfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Barrett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Marcus Barrett enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrett scores with a jab to the body.
Barrett lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Raven Bloodfist has been cut.
Barrett throws a left that rocks Bloodfist and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Barrett dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Bloodfist regain composure!

Bloodfist is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barrett controlling from side mount.
Oh Bloodfist is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bloodfist seems to have got his legs back now.
Barrett tries to stand but Bloodfist is controlling his head.
Bloodfist could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Barrett has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Barrett lands with a nice combination. Bloodfist backs away looking to recover.
Marcus Barrett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donk. Barrett catches Bloodfist right on the button with a cross.
Bloodfist closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barrett drops his shoulder and cracks Bloodfist with a huge uppercut! Bloodfist goes down! Can Barrett finish him?
Barrett sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Barrett must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Barrett stands and steps away. Bloodfist gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Barrett sends Bloodfist crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Barrett is motioning to the referee to let Bloodfist up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Raven Bloodfist's cut is getting worse.
Barrett scores with a shot to the body.
Bloodfist is breathing heavily.
Bloodfist takes one on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Bloodfist takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Barrett scores with a jab to the body.
Barrett lands with a straight right. Bloodfist didn't see that one coming.
Barrett stuffs the takedown attempt from Bloodfist. Bloodfist gets slowly back to his feet.
Barrett lands a jab to the nose.
Barrett is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Bloodfist had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Bloodfist fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Barrett tests Bloodfist's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Barrett throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bloodfist tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barrett swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raven Bloodfist. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bloodfist tries a head kick but it misses.
Bloodfist moves forwards but Barrett connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bloodfist closes the distance and clinches up with Barrett, looking for a takedown. Bloodfist pushes Barrett against the cage but Barrett circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bloodfist shoots in and drives through. Barrett sprawls well.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Barrett!

Raven Bloodfist's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Barrett connects with a nice cross there... Bloodfist is looking wobbly and Barrett recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Bloodfist to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Barrett jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
