Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tohino Cerezo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a nice looking combination but Cerezo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cerezo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Cerezo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Cerezo.
Smith throws a body punch but Cerezo moves out of range.
Smith thows a body shot but no joy.
Cerezo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cerezo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cerezo shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Cerezo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Smith throws a right hand that Cerezo ducks under and follows up with a left that Cerezo also avoids with ease.
Cerezo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smith but Smith pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Smith fakes the body blow, causing Cerezo to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Cerezo goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
