Malapitan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fritz.
Mason Fritz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fritz moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Fritz moves into the clinch.
Fritz can't get the takedown.
Malapitan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Malapitan manages to break the clinch.
Fritz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
