The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barbos closes the distance and clinches.
Wrestler is trying to pull guard but Barbos has him pressed against the cage.

Barbos breaks the clinch.

Wrestler is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Barbos's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barbos is controlling Wrestler's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Wrestler tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Barbos.
Wrestler prevents Barbos from standing back up.
Barbos slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Barbos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Barbos scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Wrestler takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Wrestler tries to close the distance and clinch but Barbos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wrestler fails with a takedown attempt.
Barbos lands with a good body shot.
Wrestler shoots in for a double leg but Barbos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pes Barbos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manong Wrestler.
Barbos digs a good hook to Wrestler's body.

and Barbos counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wrestler thinking.

Barbos moves into the clinch successfully.

Barbos has hold of one of Wrestler's legs. Wrestler is fighting the takedown attempt but Barbos gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Wrestler wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Barbos manages to pass to side control.

Barbos fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Wrestler to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Wrestler looks to clinch but Barbos throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Wrestler taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
