The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano throws a solid leg kick but Dawson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Marciano.
Dawson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Marciano pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Marciano misses with a jab, cross combination.
Marciano misses with a body shot.
Dawson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Dawson blocks a leg kick.
Marciano misses the jab.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Dawson throws a series of punches but Marciano avoids them all with ease.
Dawson misses with a looping right.
Marciano throws a right hand that Dawson ducks under and follows up with a left that Dawson also avoids with ease.
Marciano misses with a wild combination.
Marciano throws a head kick that misses.
No joy there for Marciano, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Marciano should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Dawson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Rocky Marciano has been cut.

Marciano drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Dawson lands with a straight right. Marciano didn't see that one coming.
Marciano swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dawson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A decent looking cross lands there for Dawson.
Marciano is rocked!
Dawson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Dawson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Marciano! Dawson dives in looking to finish! Marciano is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Dawson!
A very excited looking Jay Dawson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
