Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lawrence Trainor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Weston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weston is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Master of Puppets - Metallica. Lawrence Trainor could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nate Weston's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trainor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Weston tries to avoid it but Trainor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Weston to the ground. Weston escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Weston looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Trainor is looking to clinch but Weston is avoiding it.
Trainor avoids a punch combination nicely.

Trainor pushes Weston up against the cage in a clinch.

Trainor has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Weston uses from the top position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Weston got a little sloppy there for a moment and Trainor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Weston has managed to get both his arms back between Trainor's legs - danger averted.
Weston has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Trainor is proving hard to escape from.
Trainor wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
