The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Barnes is fending him off so far but Wagner persists. Nope, Barnes circles away and we're back to standing.
Barnes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barnes connects with an inside leg kick.
Barnes fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Barnes connects with a leg kick. Wagner looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Barnes chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A chopping leg kick lands by Barnes.
Barnes pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Wagner counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Barnes's guard now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Barnes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Wagner wants to control from the top but Barnes keeps moving.

Wagner postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Barnes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wagner is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barnes keeping full guard, as Wagner tries to pass.
Barnes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wagner on the ground.
Wagner wants to control from the top but Barnes keeps moving.
Wagner looking to sit in guard and control but Barnes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Barnes is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Wagner has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Barnes is looking to defend but Wagner has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Barnes! Wagner pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Barnes taps out and this one is all over!
