Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Lodin!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lodin clinches with his opponent.
Lodin tries to work over Bungay's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Lodin using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bungay has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Lodin struggles to land a body shot inside as Bungay controls his hands.
Bungay prevents a body shot from Lodin.
Lodin swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bungay can't find room to land a body shot as Lodin controls the action.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Lodin.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bungay.
Bungay blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Lodin blocks an uppercut.
Lodin lands with a right to the head.

It looks like Merv Bungay has been cut.
Bungay tries to land knees in the clinch but Lodin avoids the damage to the body.
A short uppercut from Lodin.
Lodin tries a body shot but Bungay blocks it.
A head punch on the inside from Bungay fails to land.
Bungay throws a punch but it's blocked by Lodin.
Lodin is leaning against Bungay and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lodin lands a right hand.
Bungay wants to break the clinch but can't.
Lodin lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bungay or not.
Bungay is breathing heavily.
A nice left hand lands by Lodin.

Lodin managing to block the knees to the body from Bungay.
Bungay looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bungay swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Bungay is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lodin is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bungay to the mat. Bungay regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Lodin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Bungay wants to get back to his feet but Lodin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lodin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Lodin is pushing down on Bungay's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bungay is fighting to maintain full guard but Lodin has managed to sneak the leg through.
Lodin is trying to control the action in half guard but Bungay is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Lodin throwing shots but Bungay is blocking nicely.
Bungay avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lodin.
Lodin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Lodin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bungay's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bungay looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lodin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bungay keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lodin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Bungay pushes Lodin off looking to stand but Lodin dives back in and keeps control.

Lodin wants to free his trapped foot but Bungay is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Bungay is looking to escape.
Lodin works his foot free and advances to mount.

Lodin breaks from Bungay's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Lodin tries to control but Bungay wriggling away.
Lodin looking to finish Bungay with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bungay!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bungay is squirming around, avoiding Lodin's attempts to control the action.

Lodin is working for a guillotine from mount but Bungay frees his head quite easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lodin loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Bungay scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Lodin land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Lodin stands and salutes the crowd.
